Join us as a Trustee!

The Juno Project is looking to grow the diversity of our board of trustees and better reflect the young people that we support.

We encourage applications from a wide range of candidates including those with relevant lived experience. We are particularly keen to hear from those with the following skills and experience:

  • Senior-level experience in the education field, preferably gained in a pupil referral unit or similar

  • Experience in the community/voluntary sector at a senior level

  • Strategic/business planning experience

  • Experience in engaging with minoritised and less often heard groups

  • Experience working in a small/scaling organisation

As a trustee, you will be jointly responsible for setting the overall direction of the charity, ensuring that the charity operates in accordance with its statutory duties and delivers its goals. We expect our trustees to contribute to discussions, focus and direct on issues within their area of expertise and provide guidance on new initiatives.

We’d be particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have experience in the education sector.

If you’re interested in joining us, please submit a CV and personal statement demonstrating your suitability and setting out how you meet the criteria for this role. You can read more about this role here.

If your CV and personal statement demonstrate experience of essential criteria, you will be invited to an interview.

Please submit your CV and a personal statement of no more than 500 words by Friday, May 14th to trustees@thejunoproject.co.uk
