Our Programmes
We offer a range of workshops for Years 6 to 11, through schools. Please get in touch if you would like a private workshop.
Workshops for Years 6-11
Horizons is an 8 week programme, designed for Year 6 girls who are transitioning into secondary school. The programme is designed to support the girls with their worries around moving up to secondary school, providing a safe space where they can be discussed and managed, using tools, peer support and creative expression.
We offer a range of workshops for young women in Yrs. 8, 9, 10 and 11, who are experiencing disadvantage and challenge which impacts on their self-relationship and their ability to engage with education. The themes for Yrs. 8 and 9 are identity and self-image, including body image; relationships with others; self-esteem and self-care strategies and managing worries and anxiety. In Yr. 10 we explore these themes with more depth and look at the participants’ contribution to their wider community, along with aspirations and goals. In Yr. 11, we give 121 support at key moments in the academic calendar, focused on exam stress and goal setting. We co-create an action plan to help young women set and reach goals and give each young person tools and tips that will help them to get, and stay, on track.
Community Workshops
Our community workshops are delivered in partnership with youth organisations and family hubs across West Sussex. Working in the community means we can offer support to a wider range of young women, including home educated young people, or young people who are not currently able to access mainstream education. We offer inspirational coaching that grows self awareness, offers tools for emotional regulation, and supports young women to identify, and reach, their aspirations!
