Funding from the Home Office, Sussex Police and Crime Commissioner
We are delighted to have received funding from the Home Office to support and empower teenage girls in the Crawley area to make positive choices, and reduce the risk of them becoming involved in anti-social behaviour linking to violence and criminal activity.
The funding was for smaller charities, in recognition of the fact that young people are/have been more vulnerable to the risk of serious violence and exploitation during the lockdown. The funding seeks to support those offering a targeted approach in hotspots as they emerge.
The funding is administered through Sussex Police and West Sussex Violence Reduction Unit, which works collaboratively across the county to reduce the risks of serious violence to young people.
